Gauging his strength vs yours is in the text above, but I will reiterate to be clear: * Unless you have very high damage, you will need to survive through several green phases to finish him.įortunately, they made green attacks more common and it also appears that he either no longer transforms or it just doesn't happen as often (the first time I fought him he would have a black attack that turned him into a huge and super-powerful version of himself, after one single green attack, but I didn't see this the 2nd time I fought him despite taking longer to kill him). * If you don't do significant damage to him when he goes into spikey ball form, you need more offense.either more MATK (if the red bar did not go up very fast) or physical ATK (if you roasted him good but still couldn't hurt him). Your meteor strike attacks should make his red bar grow very quickly, and once it's high enough, you will start to do physical damage to him with your charge swing.

If you get too close, you will take huge damage and probably die, but this is the form he is most vulnerable in. When it finishes, he will lose his shell and turn into a spikey ball. You will want to be able to hit him with your charge swing. * When he charges his green attack, get close.but not TOO close. He'll fire a giant blob that will stay as a puddle.you MUST dodge this (it does massive damage even if your defense is insane), though you might survive if it only brushes you. * When he charges a yellow attack, run to the edge of the screen. If your defense is high enough, you won't even need to run around him. If you die quickly from his regular attacks, you will need more defense (or incredible dodging skills). * You will want to run circles around Monty. Keep the screen on alchemy so you can quickly heal if necessary. MP potions may also come in handy if you don't have enough MP regen. You should crank up your stats, then make some healing potions. * You will want to export a save before wasting a bunch of alchemy. You might also want to try as a different classes.I honestly don't know what class is best to use (I used wizard both times I killed him). If you don't have 5 global skills, you can try by using an Angel, or drop one of the Angel skills. * Firestorm (Wizard) might be even better.I'm starting to think that the number of hits counts more than the damage done. * Alchemy enough to get +1000% or more on ATK, MATK, DEF, and MDEF.

#INCREMENTAL EPIC HERO GUIDE PLUS#
* around +5 or higher for all equipment giving major bonuses to any of the afformentioned stats, plus golem shield +10 or higher (higher is better). Golem shield primarily, but you'll also need HP%, DEF%, and MDEF% items. That means any item that adds to attack, attack%, damage%, or the MATK equivalents will need at least a few evolutions.
#INCREMENTAL EPIC HERO GUIDE HOW TO#
Here's how to fight him without being an arcade god: If you can reach Octobadie, you should be able to kill Monty without too much trouble, but even then his two most powerful attacks will likely kill you. Arcade gods might be able to kill him sooner. You should be able to reach 6-6 though, at least, without using alchemy. Note that I've beat Monty twice but have never been powerful enough to fight Octo, so "superior stats" in this case does not mean god-like. To fight him, you will either need superior arcade skills, or middling arcade skills but superior stats. The yellow ability appears to take off massive damage no matter what you defense is.
